Micro Wedding Package

Micro Weddings were quickly becoming the leading trend as we entered 2020. Then, when COVID-19 took over, even more couples considered this option.

Whether you’re looking for ways to celebrate in the midst of a pandemic or always dreamed of a small, intimate wedding, we have the perfect package for you!

Even though Micro Weddings have gained some serious popularity, planning one can have some challenges. Whether you’re looking for intimate wedding venues, the best outdoor wedding venues in New Jersey, or want to plan a backyard wedding reception at your home, we have designed the perfect Micro Wedding packages in New Jersey!
Teaming up with New Jersey’s best wedding venues, along with the most talented wedding vendors in the area, now you can plan your Micro Wedding easily and quickly.

What are micro weddings?

According to Wedding-Spot, a Micro Wedding is any ceremony and/or reception with less than 50 total guests. Our packages are designed for three different size weddings: 25 guests, 50 guests, and 100 guests.
Being in New Jersey, everyone is used to larger weddings with 200 guests and more. The majority of the New Jersey wedding venues ask couples to commit to a minimum of 150 guests, and sometimes 200 for a popular Saturday night.
With our Micro Wedding packages, you don’t have to spend weeks searching for a venue that accepts smaller guest counts…We’ve already done the work for you! In fact, each venue we have partnered with has created custom menus for each package level.
For couples planning a backyard wedding reception in New Jersey, we have partnered with amazing caterers that have designed their menus for 25, 50, and 100 guests.
Micro Weddings are typically between 5 and 6 hours in length, and takes place at one location. Some couples may choose to have a ceremony, while others might prefer to stick with just dinner and dancing.

Why Should You Have A Micro Wedding?

Maybe you had a New Jersey wedding cancelled by Coronavirus, or perhaps you’re just looking to plan a very small, simple wedding. A Micro Wedding is a great option for countless reasons!
As we navigate through this pandemic, weddings will start coming back with smaller guest counts. No one knows when the 200 person weddings will return, and really, who wants to wait and find out? Micro Weddings are much less likely to be affected by future shutdowns solely because of their smaller guest counts.
If you really don’t want to worry about your wedding being postponed over and over, you can host at a private location like your home. Many people do not have a backyard fit for 200 guests, but they can manage 25, 50, and some even 100. By planning a Micro Wedding at a residence, you’ll be able to keep your original wedding date and keep the dance floor

Frequently Asked Questions...

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE MICRO WEDDING PACKAGES IF WE CHOOSE ONE OF YOUR VENUES?

Each package includes your venue, all food and beverage, photo and video coverage, florals, and music. A member of our planning team will be with you every step of the way and on-site for the wedding to handle “Day Of” Coordination details!

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE MICRO WEDDING PACKAGES IF WE WANT TO HOST AT OUR HOME OR OTHER PRIVATE LOCATION?

You’ve got the space and we’ve got the vendors! Along with photo, video, music, florals and a dedicated planner, your package will include food and beverage, and all necessary rentals including tenting, flooring, and restroom trailers.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I HAVE?

Our packages are custom designed for 25, 50, and 100 guests respectively. If your count falls somewhere in between, we can absolutely work out a package that fits! 100 guests is our maximum for all Micro Wedding packages, and those larger parties are encouraged to contact us here with their planning needs.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO PROVIDE?

We designed these Micro Wedding packages in such a way that couples could come to us on short notice and still have an amazing wedding with everything they need. That said, every couple has different needs. Once you’re signed on with us, you’ll receive a full welcome packet that includes our preferred vendor list. Choose your officiant, transportation, hair and make-up vendor from our list of trusted professionals, or select ones you already love!

WHO ARE THE VENDORS IN EACH PACKAGE?

We have put together an incredible team of vendors in every category! These are trusted professionals we have worked with, and they are the best at what they do. Every vendor is a professional with years of experience, and stellar reviews from past clients.

I SEE YOU HAVE MUSIC INCLUDED…IS THAT LIVE MUSIC OR A DJ?

We know how important music is at a wedding, and our couples always have a preference between live music and a DJ. Knowing this, we have partnered with both types of music vendors! When you fill out the contact form, you’ll be able to let us know what your music vendor preference is before we design your package.

HOW CAN WE CUSTOMIZE OUR MICRO WEDDING IF THE PACKAGES ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE?

The one thing we did not want to do, is make these packages all the same. While each package does include the wedding day basics, couples get to interact with their venue and vendors throughout the planning process. This allows brides and grooms to create a unique look with their florist, set up engagement photos with their photographer, design the menu of their dreams and so much more. We’ve included the basics, but it’s up to you to make it your own!

ARE OTHER VENUES AVAILABLE?

Currently, we are partnered with just the venues listed on this page. Be sure to keep checking back as more locations are added!

CAN WE CONTACT THE VENUES FOR THESE PACKAGES?

We’re able to bring couples affordable packages by partnering with different venues and vendors. The package and pricing options are exclusive to Rothweiler Event Design.

WHAT IF THE VENUE I WANT ISN’T ON YOUR LIST?

New Jersey is famous for big weddings with at least 150 to 200 guests. This makes finding a wedding venue that can accommodate less than 100 guests pretty difficult! We are constantly talking to new venues about getting involved in our Micro Wedding packages, but if you have a venue in mind, just let us know. If we don’t already know whether or not they will host a Micro Wedding, we’ll be happy to reach out!

DO YOU HAVE LOCATIONS OUTSIDE OF NEW JERSEY?

Right now we’re focused on helping Garden State couples have the wedding of their dreams on a micro-scale. Stay tuned as we add additional locations including The Hamptons, NYC , Philadelphia, and Bucks County! Have a location we should check out? Contact us about custom packages.

WHAT DAYS ARE AVAILABLE? ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR OFF-PEAK DAYS?

These Micro Wedding packages are already reduced in price because we’re bringing so much of what every couple needs together. That said, to allow couples to save even more, we’re offering packages 365 days a year and 7 days a week! If you’re flexible with your date, you’ll be able to save even more.

WHAT DOES THE DAY LOOK LIKE IF WE BOOK A MICRO WEDDING PACKAGE?

Each package includes up to 6 hours on-site. Couples can use this time to include their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, or customize the day however they want. Whether you want all the traditions, or are ready to skip right to the party, the time is yours to do whatever you like!

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE TO POSTPONE?

COVID-19 has flipped the wedding world upside down and countless weddings have been postponed to later dates. We are fully aware how important it is to be flexible and accommodating with our couples. Should your wedding date be in jeopardy for any reason, we will work with you to find a mutual date that works for your venue and your team of vendors.

WHERE CAN WE FIND PRICING?

Since our packages are available every day of the year and at multiple locations including private homes, we provide custom quotes to every couple. Our contact form allows you to give us as much information as we need including your budget.
